Starting off in style

And so the adventures begin. Day 0 we are safely in London ready to get on our first flight tomorrow morning. Our home for the night… The Purple Palace (a Premier Inn for all those that aren’t Jen).

Those hoping to see our first real post of us clinking a couple of champagne glasses will be disappointed, the Palace doesn’t seem to offer it by the glass. Instead a posh gin and tonic and a Punk IPA will have to do.

I’m playing the first meal safe… The burger whilst Jen is risking the steak. We thought we would try a starter and will share the Bruschetta.

As i write this, the Bruschetta has just arrived and what can I say it’s the world’s saddest pizza. I think I’ve made the right choice with the burger and we’ll have to see how the steak is.

Time to tuck into the starter but I can hear the D:REAM song in my head “Things can only get better”
